DLP Tutorial Classes - शिक्षणम्
Samskrita Bharati’s Distance Learning Program (DLP) is a unique opportunity to learn Samskritam at your own pace, at your own place! It consists of simple and interesting lessons accompanied by downloadable MP3 audio for the initial two levels. Lessons include stories, puzzles, and glimpses of Samskritam literature along with an innovative method of language learning. No prior knowledge of Samskritam is assumed, so teaching starts with the basics. After successful completion of four levels, you will be able to understand shlokas from original texts like Bhagavad Gita or Ramayana all by yourself !
Tutorial Class Structure
DLP Courses are conducted for two different age groups
ADULT TRACK

The following figure depicts the general progression of a student, of either group, from one level to the next. However, it is not mandatory to take all levels of tutorial classes. For example, if a student has prior knowledge of Samskritam at the “Pravesha level”, then the student may register for the next level (“Parichaya level”)
Strategy or Approach
An ideal approach to learning by self study is to be part of local study groups where the medium of instruction is Samskritam, and use the DLP material and Exams as a test for the knowledge gained. DLP’s tutorial classes are an alternative to the self study approach. One may attend the tutorial classes, prepare for the exams, and write the exams for that level, before moving to the next level
