S2S (sambhāṣaṇataḥ śāstraparyantam) Certificate Course -

An online program for 18+ adults who are unable to attend in-person classes to learn Samskritam. Yuvavibhāgaḥ - 

Our Division of Youth Education and Engagement conducts various classes and other activities for youth in the 18-30 age group through its Campus Samskritam Network (CSN) and Samskritam Network for Young Professionals (SNYP).  Twelve college students representing nine universities (CSN Chapters) and another thirteen volunteers from SNYP and other teams attended the first annual meeting of Yuvavibhāgaḥ held this past weekend in Dallas. The concluding program was held on UT-Dallas Campus with a keynote address by Dr. Siddhartha Jayanti, Assistant Professor at Dartmouth College, SAFL-alumnus, and member of our SNYP team. Want to be part of our Yuvavibhāgaḥ? Send email to yuva@sbusa.org

Do you know that SAFL (Samskritam As a Foreign Language) Program for High School students is a popular foreign language credit program in the US? We will be offering a SAFL informational webinar for parents of prospective students on Sat Feb 7 at 800pm ET (and again on Sat Mar 7 at the same time). Non-gadget Games for Children and Adults 

A few of our dedicated volunteers have started a new initiative called BhodhaPlay and are working on creative ways to make Samskritam learning both fun and easy. They have released three non-gadget games including krīḍārañjanī, a collection of puzzles and games in Samskritam. Appropriate for all ages (children and adults) to have fun and to improve one’s Samskritam vocabulary. Volunteers of BodhaPlay, a new Samskrita Bharati initiative for creating non‑gadget games will be conducting this unique national level competition for children. Twenty-one weeks. Amarakosha Memorization Class

A six-month weekly twice class that is open to children and adults who know devanāgarī-lipi and are able to understand conversational Samskritam. Fees = dedication to attend the class in its entirety.

Requirement – 30-minute class that meets weekly twice (Wed and Fri from 830pm-900pm ET). Learners will need to attend both the sessions each week for about six months. This course is for only those who will attend nearly all weekly twice 30-min sessions for the duration of six months.
