We would like to highlight a few past and on-going projects which have immense potential in promoting Samskritam.

Sarasvati Seva is one such project that involved creation of new or translated works in Samskritam by poets, writers and scholars in Samskritam. A total of over 300 books were published in the following areas - Teaching and learning material, Short stories, Novels, Philosophy, Biographies, Current topics and issues, Dharma and culture, Leadership, Science and Other modern subjects. This was done by Samskrita Bharati India with sponsors from various countries including several from USA.

Texbooks for the SAFL (Samskritam As a Foreign Language) program were published in USA. These books were created on the same lines of the foreign language texbooks used by high shool students in USA. Similarly informational books for children were also published.

An animated movie on Sri Satyanarayana kathaa in Samskritam is being made with crowd funding. Samskrita Bharati Canada is leading the efforts for this project.

There is also an ongoing project to build a Samskrita Bhavanam in the Washington DC area (https://www.sbpadam.org/).

There have been many supporters of these projects and Samskrita Bharati would like to thank all of them for their generous donations for this cause.

We would like to sincerely thank Guru Krupa Foundation (GKF)  (htttp://www.guru-krupa.org ) for sponsoring the publication of text books for Samskritam As a Foreign Language (SAFL) program and children's books through  generous grants and also for making a significant contribution to the Samskrita Bhavanam Project.  GKF has also generously supported numerous annual special programs conducted by Washington DC Samskrita Bharati kendrams. We convey our deep appreciation and gratitude to its founder, Sri. Mukund Padmanabhan
