Distance Learning Program (DLP) - दूरस्थशिक्षणम्

General Overview

Distance Learning Program (DLP) of Samskrita Bharati USA has expanded options and details of what options may be suitable for whom. Please read all the website content carefully. More details explaining the above diagram will be forthcoming. The DLP exam-related changes will be provided on the Exam Registration form.

Generally speaking, DLP has three facets:

1. 1. Conducting Tutorial Classes - DLP conducts regularly scheduled tutorial classes to cover the material necessary to take the standard certificate exams Pravesha, Parichaya, Shiksha, and Kovida. Separate classes are conducted for Adults and Children. For more information please click the Tutorial Classes link. Please note that registering/attending DLP tutorial classes is NOT MANDATORY for taking the exams, nor the tutorial class students will have any preferential treatment for the exams. In addition to standard scheduled classes, DLP also conducts Advanced Classes for adults. The advanced classes do not follow a standard schedule and the topics vary from time to time.
  2. Conducting Certification Exams - DLP conducts exams for certification of Pravesha, Parichaya, Shiksha, and Kovida. These are conducted in two cycles per year MAY Cycle and NOV Cycle. For more information please click the DLP Exam Info link.
  3. DLP Bookstore: DLP Exam-related books (Pravesha, Parichaya, Shiksha, and Kovida) can be purchased from the DLP Bookstore. Please remember that DLP Bookstore carries only the above-mentioned books and these are NOT available on the Main Samskrita Bharati Bookstore. All other Samskritam-related books can be purchased from SB Main Bookstore.
